Ramadan is the most blessed and holiest month. This month has three division, The first 10 days of Ramadan is known as days of pure mercy or 10 days of mercy. Consider the following hadith.
“O son of Adam, as long as you call upon Me and put your hope in Me, I have forgiven you for what you have done and I do not mind. O son of Adam, if your sins were to reach the clouds of the sky and then you would seek My forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, if you were to come to Me with sins that are close to filling the earth and then you would meet Me without ascribing any partners with Me, I would certainly bring to you forgiveness close to filling it.”
Ar-Rahman is one of Allahs Name, which means the most merciful. And in start of every thing we say it.
The above line is the first verse of the first chapter of the Holy Quran. The above line means.
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All the times We commit sins sometimes without realizing and even sometimes knowingly. Yet Allah promises us forgiveness.
First 10 Days of Ramadan
The first 10 days of Ramadan are the days of pure mercy. Consider the following verses of the Holy Quran. Allah himself says that he is so merciful.
Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” (Quran, 39:53)
And, [O Muhammad], say, “My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful.” (Quran, 23:118)

So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me. (Quran 2:152)
