Unlike we keep watching TV in rest of months we should stop ourselves from watching TV and stopping from other sins as well and spend time in worship. Do something creating in this Ramadan. Spend time with family and kids. Teach your kids about Islam. Tell them the hadiths. Make them feel what Islam is.
Listen to Quranic Verses with Translation instead of Music
Most of us are habitat of listening music. But do something different this Ramadan. You are preparing for Ramadan then get Mp3 or Audio files of whole Quran with translation. Leave your music files for this month and listen to Quran. It will give you peace and spiritual power.
You can also listen some naath or taqreer of some great scholars of Islam. As listening or reciting Quran while you are fasting is very good thing in this spiritual way. Reduce your music and other entertainment and get close with the Holy Quran and Allah.
Balance your daily activity and Religious Rituals
You also need to care about your office or business work. And your studies so try to make a balance between both. This can be achieved by leaving all the useless activities for this month.
Don’t only just listen to Quran and Taqreers. Try to recite Quran as much as you can throughout the Ramadan Month. There is a hadith for this.
Aishah (ra) related that the Prophet (pbuh) said: “Indeed the one who recites the Qur’an beautifully, smoothly and precisely, will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. As for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have twice that reward.” (Muslim)

Islam teaches us to help each other. By helping each other we can make this world a better place. See the following hadith.
